You’re ‘stupid’ to be a minister – NDC’s Nurudeen replies Bryan Acheampong

Ashanti Regional Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Nurudeen Abass has replied to threats by Minister of State in Charge of National Security, Mr. Bryan Acheampong.

He wondered how a stupid person like him became a minister adding that blockheads of his caliber can only be appointed to such positions under the administration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

In a Facebook banter over allegations the recent truckload of weapons were imported into the country by the Minister, the NDC executive also accused him of being behind the spillage of blood at January 31, 2019 Ayawaso West Wuogon by-elections.

“Beneath Mr. Bryan Acheampong’s posts, he wrote in reply to attacks “How can a stupid guy like you be a minister .Look at your choice of words? It’s only in akufo addo’s govt that dunderheads like u can be a minister. I like the 3 option. Just try it. Because you succeeded in spilling innocent blood at ayawaso west wuogon so u think you have monopoly over violence and terrorism? Your punishment will come from above. What in the post suggest that the person being talked about is even u? R u the only one known by that name in Gh? U call yourself Bryan and the person being talked about in the post is Brian(different spellings)so how on earth can u claim that the statement is referred to you if not for the fact that you are an imbecile I don’t blame you. l blame our own NDC guys who gave you juicy contracts to amass so much wealth to you against us. Like l told u your punishment will come from above”

Mr. Achampong on Wednesday vowed to screw the stupidity from Nurudeen Abass over unsubstantiated allegations.

The Member of Parliament (MP) of Abetifi constituency in the Eastern Region who weighed among six options in dealing with the NDC executive for peddling falsehood that a container load of AK47 assault rifles were imported by him, said he was also considering praying for him. In a post on his Facebook page sighted by MyNewsGh.com he said “What do you do to fools like this making categorical statements in the name of politics. Ashanti Regional NDC officer!

1. Get him arrested to prove his allegation.

2. Sue him for defamation

3. Mechanically remove the stupidity out of him

4. Continue to pray for him

5. Report him to the peace council

6. Report him to the NDC.

Me, my heart is for #4 but my mind tilts towards #3.

Following the trending social media story and pictures of a DAF Articulated Truck with registration number GT 9699 Y containing weapons on Friday, the Ghana Police Service assured that security agencies have physically examined the said truck and its contents and found them to be imported pump action guns covered by regular documentation authorized by the Ministry for Interior and relevant agencies and they conform to the documents covering them.
