Awenare Chief Forms His Cabinet, Installs 10 Subchiefs

Barima Adu Wampah II, the chief of Akyem Awenare in the Atiwa west district in the eastern region has on the 1st June of 2019, installed 10 subchiefs to constitute his cabinet to enable him lead the good people of Awenare in the years ahead.

The ever joyous ceremony which occurred in the chief palace was attended by a lot of chiefs in the neighboring communities especially those from Adasawase.

The subchiefs include;

Tufohene – op Aboagye
Sanaahene – op kwadwo Boadu
Apegyahene – op kwaku Boahene
Akwansrahene – op kwaku Antwi
Werempemhene – op Kofi Akyeampong
Kyidomhene – op Atta Antwi
Nkɔsoɔhene – Mr oti (Rep by oti mining company, op Amponsah )
Mmabaahemaa – Madam Susan Afrifa Numako ( obaa Aku )
Ahenemahene – op Yaw Asamoah
Ahenenanahene – op Kofi gyima

In all, the 10 subchiefs pledged their allegiance to helping promote love, unity and development in the area as well as the chief also doing same to the subchiefs.

The celebration seemed never to cease since it’s been over 20 years since they lost their chief.
