Eid; Bryan Acheampong And Kwahu East DCE supports About 1,500 Muslims In Eid ul Fitr

Hon Bryan Acheampong, MP for Abetifi constituency, Hon. Isaac Agyapong, DCE for Kwahu East and the entire Abetifi Constituency Executives of the NPP have supported over 1,500 Muslims in 16 Musilum communities in Abetifi Constituency with asorted Foodstuffs as they celebrated this year’s Eid ul Fitr to mark the end of their 30 day Fasting.

The District Chief Executive on behalf of Hon. Bryan Acheampong donated the items to the constituency’s Nasara Cordinator for onward distribution.

Mr Isaac Agyapong commended the Muslims for upholding peace and living in harmony with the indigenes over the years and called on them to continue to pray for the peace for the country.

Hon Isaac Agyapong, asked the recipients to pray for the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, his vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as well as appointees of the government.

“I will also request that you also pray for me, the DCE [District Chief Executive] and all the executives of the NPP [New Patriotic Party] for us to work hard to ensure the progress of the constituency,” she beseeched them.

He therefore thanked the leaders of the Muslim community for working assiduously to ensure their members co-exist peacefully with members of other faith groups within the constituency.

The Chief Imams, speaking on behalf of their members, thanked the legislator and the DCE for their kind gesture and prayed for Allah’s blessings and protection for them.
