The deputy general secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC and former deputy minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Mrs Barbara Serwaa Asamoah has waded into the controversies surrounding kidnappings in Ghana and has charged the government and security personnel in the country to do same for the Ghana citizens who have been kidnapped for almost a year ago if they have found the Canadians.
According to the legal practioner and member of the NDC, what is good for the goods is equally good for the gander. Meaning they should not jubilate yet for there are some indegenes who also need to be rescued.
In a phone interview with the host of the Susubiribi morning show, Nana Kwabena Addo on Radio 1FM, 100.7MHZ on thursday June 13 2019 the maverick politician asserted that in asmuch as we jubilate over the rescue of the the Canadians, we should realise that indegenes of Ghana are lost for long and cannot be traced.
She also added that the safety of ordinary Ghanaian is shaky in that the police and all the security personnel must beef up their work.

The Canada citizens who were kidnapped about a week ago were yesterday rescued by a combined security forces in the nation.
Meanwhile the 3 Takoradi girls have since not been found.
