Free Health Screening (Fanteakwa South): Ehiamankyene To Receive Free Medical Care

A philanthropist and Deputy Registrar in-charge of operations at Pharmacy Council, Dr.Amaning Danquah has emphasised on the upcoming health screening at Ehiamankyene Community in the Fanteakwa South District in the Eastern Region.

The event is said to take off Saturday July 6, 2019 from 8:00am to 5:00pm.


He (Dr Amaning Danquah) revealed that the exercise is an initiative of the Lovinghearts GC International and himself to provide free health screening and services to the people in the community. He said though the exercise is at no cost on the part of the participants it requires the support of sponsors who would cater for their equipment and kits and the vehicle that will transport the health practitioners since the foundation does not have one.


In a phone interview on Radio one’s Mid-day News ”Kasiebo wo krom” when quizzed by the anchor Odehyieba Nana Yaw Ampadu as to whether there are measures put in place for people who are not closer to the grounds of the event, he said there are voluminous steps carried out for such people.” We have put measures in place and looking forward to have people from Nkankama and Afegya since there would be vehicle to convey them” he said.
The Ehiamankyene Community Medical Outreach is a free medical screening organised by Lovingheart International in collaboration with the Deputy Registrar in-charge of operation at Pharmacy Council Dr.Amaning Danquah. The one day outreach scheduled under the team ”Doing All For The Good Of All” is said to screen and treat people for malaria, typhoid, hepatitis B and Eye screening as well as provision of free reading glasses and checking of blood pressure and body mass without exempting free consultation on diabetes and hypertension.
