The Ashanti regional first Vice chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, and one of the longest serving Assembly members in Ashanti region, Hon. Kwabena Nsenkyire has described the activity of a section of the Ashanti regional NDC supporters as reckless, stupid and nonsense for cursing the electoral Commission for allegedly accusing them for registering minors in the ongoing EC’s limited registration.

Chairman Nsenkyire who doubles as the Ashanti regional NADMO Coordinator can not fathom why members of the opposition National Democratic Congress would curse EC while in masks if really they know they were doing the right thing.

The ardent member of the NPP, made these pronouncements in a phone interview with the host of the Susubiribi morning show, Nana Kwabena Addo on Monday June 24 2019 in an attempt to rectify the issue on grounds.

“Execuse my language, It is stupid and foolishness. It is stupid and foolishness to curse EC. Let’s be frank, if you know your curse is right, why do you cover your face. Do you think our gods or ancesstors are fools?” Hon. Nsenkyire quizzed.

Moreover, he said it doesn’t make sense and it’s about time we called a spade a spade.

He later denied any of the allegations the NDC was peddling especially in their curse.

Hon. Nsenkyire referred the issue to bible quote that no one lights a lantern and hides it. (Literally translated)

“Have you seen anyone who lights a lantern and hides it? Even the Bible says so. It doesn’t make sense.” He opined.

The Ashanti regional section of the opposition NDC, invoked curses on the Electoral Commission and all those who intend registering minors in the ongoing limited registration.
