The National Organiser for the largest opposition party in Ghana, National Democratic Congress (NDC), Captain Joshua Akamba has urged His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to kindly seek advice from Former President John Dramani Mahama in connection with the increase in utility tariffs in the country.
He disclosed this statement on the Susubiribi Morning Show on Radio One hosted by Nana Kwabena Addo. According to him, Akuffo Addo must seek advice from Mahama which he could get at no cost to ease the hardships caused by the current NPP administration.
”Mahama would give him free advice on how to govern to ease all the hardship on us…Because the hardship is not only on NDC, Ghanaians are suffering even NPP,” he stressed.
Moreover, he made mention of a proposal that was initiated by Mahama’s administration before his term of office was due concerning the Atuabo Gas Station that would have been used to generate gas power to reduce bills on electricity though it had some complexities.

The suggestion was strongly comated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by Akufo-Addo.
”Nana Akuffo Addo and his administration said they would reduce electricity bills when voted into power” he said.
