AYENSUANO: DCE Distributes 4,500 Palm Seedlings To Farmers

The District chief Executive of the Ayensuano District in the Eastern Region, Hon Florence Govena has distributed over four thousand five hundred (4500) Palm seedlings to one hundred and twenty (120) farmers in her jurisdiction under the flagship program, planting for food and jobs (PFFJ) program implemented by His Excellency the President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the NPP Government.

The DCE after the distribution entreated the farmers to take due advantage of the program to enrich themselves by cultivating the good practices of farming to enable them harvest bountifully during it’s harvest period.

Hon Florence Govena advised the farmers to exercise restraint towards the President’s cautious trend of clothing the nation with a better garment to ensure Ghana becomes the best habitable nation in Africa.

“Just as you exercise patient for your crops to mature naturally in a gradual process, I entreat you to exercise same for the President to mould Ghana to become the best in Africa.” The DCE appealed.

According to her, the exercise is part of the President’s fulfillment of his promises to farmers to ensure that farmers lives become worth it their contribution towards the national development.

“The nation strives on the back of agriculture and farmers the major stakeholders must be acknowledged. This is the idea of His Excellency the President.” The DCE assured.

Beneficiaries of the distribution of the 4500 seedlings went hay and showered praises of appreciation on His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and his representative in the district, Hon Florence Govena for their kind heartedness and agreed to the famous Oliver Twist “we ask for more”.
