After a journalist in the Upper East region staged a one-man demonstration last year for the reinstatement of multimedia’s Kojo Yankson as host of Joy FM Super Morning Show (SMS), there seems to be a revived campaign to get the former host back on the show.
Social media has been awash with pictures and flyers of the former host of the Joy SMS seeking to get authorities at Multimedia Ghana Limited to reinstate him even though the brain behind the renewed campaign is unknown.
Kojo Yankson, called the Morning Man during his time as host, was allegedly ousted as host of the show at the beginning of last year with some speculating it had to do with under-performance and inability to attract listeners to the morning show.
It is, however, unclear the specific reasons why he was replaced with his colleague, Daniel Dadzie, who doubles as host of the midday news on JoyNews (TV).

There is no evidence at the moment to suggest Kojo Yankson may be behind the said campaign. He has neither commented on, nor shared any such flyer on any of his personal handles, ABC News can authoritatively report.
That notwithstanding though, there appears to be a tactical approach to get the ‘Good morning Ghanafoc’ man back on radio. The brains behind this movement are championing this course on the card of Kojo’s perceived interviewing skills.
Perhaps, the call may be emanating from some listeners of the Joy SMS who may be uncomfortable with the level of experience possessed by the current host, Daniel Dadzie.
“Bring Kojo Yankson back on the Joy SMS…..for the tougher and punchier interviews” are the inscriptions on the pictures trending on social media, cited by ABC News.
The two, Kojo Yankson and Daniel Dadzie are not known to have any open ‘beef’ or disagreement which will warrant the former to trigger a campaign to get him replaced.
