Galamsey Fraud: Bissue must bath with detergents to clear himself – KNUST Lecturer

Dr Stephen Takyi, a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Planning at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has admonished Mr. Charles Bissue, former secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on illegal Mining (IMCIM), to do more after a report by police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) exonerated him of corruption allegations.

“The CID report is not enough to clear him. He has to cleanse himself with at least five detergents for Ghanians to believe him”, the lecturer mocked during panel discussion on Kumasi-based Otec FM morning show, monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

According to Dr Stephen Takyi, it is not the police or any institution in the country who will make Ghanaians to believe or disbelief Charles Bissue is guilty in the Tiger Eye PI documentary’s on Galamsey fraud

“Police have exonerated him but Ghanaians have not. And I believe Charles Bissue himself is not clear in his mind after his exoneration”, Dr Stephen Takyi opined on ‘Nyansapo’ hosted by Captain Koda monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

The CID on Monday cleared Mr. Charles Bissue of any corrupt acts after it investigated the matter following a directive from the National Security Minister, Mr. Albert Kan Dapaah.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service in a statement explained that it relied on documentary and other sources as already indicated in arriving at its decision.
