The member of Parliament (hopeful) for the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC in the Yilo Krobo constituency, Mr Michael Ologo has reiterated that he is the people’s people and stands the chance of winning the parliamentary primaries in the upcoming NDC parliamentary primaries than any other aspirant.

According to him, he has lived with his constituents, engaged them and have a good rapport with a lot of them and that makes him the man the constituents are yearning to have as their MP.

He disclosed this to the host of the Susubiribi morning show on Radio 1FM, Nana Kwabena Addo when quizzed on the possibility of other contenders winning the seat.

“It doesn’t work like that. You have to be with the people. Dine with them. Help them in the day to day activities. That is what I’ve done with my people. I am the people’s people,” Mr Ologo said.

Moreover, he said the delegates of Yilo Krobo constituency are wise to the extent that they value relationship over money. He again said for over his 12 years in the NDC party he has committed his resources in building a strong and formidable party in the constituency and he doesn’t think anyone can come around to do votes buying.

Moreover, the outspoken aspirant revealed that if anyone has saved money for politics he should rather infuse it in developing the constituency and not think of buying delegates.

“If that is how politics is, we would all do that”, he added.

Mr Michael Ologo is contending with four other aspirants for the mandate to lead the NDC in Yilo Krobo constituency to win the 2020 general elections.

Mr Ologo said he has done enough for the constituents and deserves to be given the mandate as the parliamentary aspirant for the constituency for progress and development.
