Abuakwa South MCE Celebrates Eid – Ul Adha with Kyebi Muslims

The municipal chief executive, MCE of Abuakwa South municipality, Hon. Kojo Ofori – Safo on Sunday 11th August 2019, joined the Muslim group in Kyebi in the eastern region to celebrate the Eid – Ul Adha with the able Muslims in the area.
Hon. Kojo Ofori -Safo privy to Eid – Ul Adha as a commemoration of the sacrifice Ibrahim made to Allah, when he was tested to use his only son, Isak for sacrifice until Allah provided sheep from nowhere.
In view of that he provided sheep and an undisclosed amount to help them celebrate the memorable occasion.
However, the leaders of Kyebi Muslims were very pleased and thanked him for such an unprecedented move from the MCE and like Oliver Twist, asked for more in the ensuing years.
