Afram Plains South NDC: Two Aspirants Resign A Day To Primaries, Pledge Support To Kevor

As campaingning for the Parliamentary candidate slots for NDC has only a day to end, two aspirants in the Afram Plains South competition have surprisingly resigned, one pledged support to Mark Oliver Kevor, and the other remains neutral.

Bismark Ofosu Amponsah and Emmanuel Mbeebi disclosed that they are no more contesting again even though they have all gone through balloting.

While Emmanuel Mbeebi has realised it’s not his time yet to lead his party there, he pledged his support to Mark Oliver Kevor, the other Bismark Ofosu Amponsah also says after thorough reflection and counseling on his chances, he wants to step down but would support anyone who emerges the winner in tomorrow’s election.

  1. Joseph Appiah Boateng
  2. Bismarck Ofosu Amponsah
  3. Emmanuel Mbeebi
  4. Mark Oliver Kevor
  5. Eric Osei Owusu.

The former eastern regional secretary for NDC, Mark Oliver Kevor is now in a competition with the incumbent MP, Hon. Eric Osei Owusu for the PC slot.

While some people believe it’s going to be a very heated competition, others think it will be a cool chop for Mark Oliver Kevor.

Kevor resigned from his position as the party’s secretary to contest in this year’s primaries.
