Corruption Now A Social Intervention Under NPP Government – NDC Communicator

A communication member of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC in the eastern region who doubles as the youth organiser of Atiwa East Constituency, Owusu Agyapong popularly known as Tekaa has confidently stated that corruption under Akufo-Addo’s NPP government is one of their Social interventions Prez Akufo-Addo has instituted for NPP faithfuls.

According to him, the prez of Ghana has been like a clearing agent who clears his cohorts who engage in series of corruption scandals.

He made this tough statement on Friday 23rd August 2019 on the Susubiribi morning show on Radio 1FM when the host Nana Kwabena Addo asked him of his take on the president’s decision to suspend Adjeinim Boateng Adjei PPA boss following Manasseh Azure’s exposé.

“Nana, nothing will come out of this. How can you report one case to two authorities. CHRAG and special prosecutor. There is no way Martin Amidu can independently… Akufo-Addo has now made corruption a social intervention,” Tekaa said.

The Public Procurement Authority boss Adjeinim Adjei Boateng has been asked to step aside and hand over to his deputy following Manasseh Azure’s exposé.
