The Abuakwa South communication Director for NPP has asked his fellow party faithfuls and other citizens of the country not to mind the opposition NDC for they don’t have even a kitchen to boast of when leaving government.

According to the government spokesperson, the Mahama-led NDC administration virtually squandered and destroyed every sector of the country and therefore do not have any moral right or whatsover to condemn or criticize the government.

In a studio interview on the Susubiribi Morning Show on Radio 1FM, 100.7MHZ, on August 13 2019, Bediatuo told the host Nana Kwabena Addo that the NPP government is the only party that is capable of transforming Ghana and has a track record of development in Ghana.

These came to bear when they were discussing the renaming of UNER after K. A. Busia.

While NDC are condemning the act, he believes it’s a way of protecting history. He said if that is not done, generation yet unborn would forget history.

He added that even a crop of people today are gradually forgetting the history of Ghana and other prominent people who ones sacrificed for the nation.

The University of Energy and Natural Resources has been named after Dr Kofi Abrefa Busia. This is not the first time NPP has named a university after an individual. The likes of Ephraim Amu, C. k. Tandem have all been named after institutions.
