Fanteakwa South: Friends Of Dr Amaning Danquah To Organise Free Entrepreneur Skills And Training For Women & Youth

Benevolence, Generosity, kindhearted just to mention a few, are always used to describe one Dr Amaning Danquah, deputy registrar in charge of operations at the Ghana Pharmacy Council and so not surprising at all as a group called ‘Friends of Dr Amaning’ emulating the ordeals of the philanthropist and native of Osino, are organising a free entrepreneurial skills and training for all women and youth in the Fanteakwa south district in the eastern region.

The program which commences from 27th August 2019 is christened: ‘Livelihood Empowerment For Women’ is aiming at providing women and youth in the constituency the skills and knowledge needed to be enterpreneurs to help reduce poverty in the constituency if not to totally eradicate it.

It is necessary to note that the program is free and it’s intended to cover all communities in the Fanteakwa South district. For this reason the program is scheduled as follows;

27th August 2019: Osino at the Tennis court (8:00am – 1:00pm). Nsutam and Nsuapemso will have theirs on the same day but from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at Nsutam Durbar grounds.

On Wednesday, August 28 2019, Residents of Dwenase, Abompe and Gyampomani will have their turn at Dwenase Durbar grounds from 8:00am – 1:00pm While on Thursday August 29 2019 would be the turn of residents of Hemang and Dome also in the morning, from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

On Friday August 30 2019, Bosuso and Adjeikrom residents would have theirs from 8:00am – 1:00am at the Apostolic Church, Bosuso while the afternoon session on the same day would be for residents of Saamang/Juaso from 3:00pm – 5:00pm on the same day at Juaso Durbar grounds.

The training is expected to end on Saturday August 31 2019 where those at Ehiamankyene, Bepoase, Nkankama and Asedja would converge at the Ehiamankyene Epicenter from 8:00am – 1:00pm.

At the end of the training, friends of Dr Amaning Danquah are looking forward to participants being well equipped in skills and knowledge to produce; Ice Cream, Fresh Yoghurts, Shampoo, Washing Powder, Slippers, Bridal fun, Hair pomade, Shower Gel, Beaded Slippers, Multipurpose Liquid Detergent, Bridal Facinator, Body Lotion.

However, there are also provisions made to suport participants if the need be to start up their businesses according to the preferences of the participants.

This unprecedented training in the constituency, according to friends of Dr Amaning Danquah, would not be a nine day wonder, but would be somehow an annual or quarterly ritual and therefore entreat all to register for free to help them prepare to meet everyone’s demand.

Over the years, Dr Amaning Danquah has been organising Free health screening in the constituency aside renovating the Osino health center and sending people to learn other various trades .

He is a man well emulating and deserves to be highly recognised and applauded in the society.
