TOURISM: Work Ongoing At Aboretum To Meet International Standard

Tourism in Ghana is one if the avenues that fetches the country a huge sums of income and eastern region is fortunate enough to have more of these tourist sites.

One among the numerous sites is Aboretum at Bunso in the Abuakwa South municipality in the eastern region which is a forest reserve, and a perfect place used as a recreational center.

Aboretum has about 610 different species of tress and provisions are made there for nature tour and the canopy walkway.

However, management of Aboretum led by Mr Eric Asare, together with other stakeholders are immensely working on the reserve to give it a facelift to meet international standards in order to attract more tourists and in turn help support the economy and employment to help make Ghana a brand in the globe.

Management are tirelessly working to provide children’s park, zoo, canteen and other necessary ornaments in addition to the walkway and nature tour in the next 2 months.
