Head Pastor of the Glorious Wave Chapel International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, has described President Akufo-Addo’s fight against corruption as worse than that of former President John Mahama.
“I can say worse just based on perception and issues that are coming out. Politicians don’t tell the truth and it is in their blood,” Prophet Badu Kobi told Bola Ray on ‘Starr Chat’.
He stated that democracy in Africa is very wrong because the proponents of democracy will not borrow to buy Land Cruisers or get free fuel at the expenses of the citizens.
“The President behaves like a king and democracy cannot work for Africa. What has democracy got to do with us,” he quizzed.

“I believe that the constitution of Ghana must be amended where politicians will get mid-terms like students. In fact, the executive especially must go double track,” he said.
Prophet Badu Kobi further questioned the president’s privilege in appointing the Inspector General of Police (IGP) rather than the police council.
He explained that “The moment he appoints the IGP, he (the president) rules over the person or he directs the person. The executive should never interfere in police matters”.
The ‘controversial’ man of God noted that there should be checks and balances within the arms of government and not cooperation.
