Fanteakwa South: Dr Amaning Organises Capacity Building Workshop For Midwives

The heart that never gets tired for doing good, Dr Amaning Danquah, has once again arranged for a one day workshop for all midwives in the Fanteakwa south district in the eastern region to boost their capabilities in realising their duties in serving mother Ghana.

The one day workshop slated for September 4 2019 at Osino Health Center will commence at exactly 9:00am to 3:00pm.

In an interview with the host, physician Assistant of Osino Health Center, Daniel Derbbie on the Kasiebɔ wɔ krom, he revealed to Odehyeɛba Nana Yaw Ampadu that they really embrace the initiative since capacity building is one of the tools that would help them identify new methods and occurrences in their fields of work.

Again, he revealed that his outfit is much prepared to welcome all the midwives in the district and also the resource personnel coming to take them through the training.

He added that the workshop will mainly focus on work ethics, and dynamics in handling pregnant women and nursing mothers.

The unprecedented program would equip the midwives the knowledge, wisdom and technicalities in handling pregnant women and nursing mothers.

Dr Amaning Danquah, currently is the deputy registrar in charge of operations at the Ghana Pharmacy Council and this has not been his first token to the midwives in the district. He is noted for lifting the ediface of Osino health center, providing hospital beds, and other hospital equipments as well as organising free health screening in the district.
