Deputy National Security Coordinator in Charge of Airports, Hopeson Adorye, says he is ready to serve the people of Kpone -Katamanso as he eyes the parliamentary seat.
To him, he has what it takes to ensure that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) retains power in the next general election and won’t resort to financial inducement to earn the backing of the party’s delegate.
“I have the connections looking at achievements in the party and what I have been able to do for my party. Through my hard work I am very popular now and people within the Kpone -Katamanso know my competence and believe I am the man to steer the affairs to lead the constituency if they give me the chance in the 2020 elections. I am the only candidate who will not buy votes,” he said.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosi Sen show, Friday, Mr Adorye noted that he has what it takes to lobby for developmental projects and other benefits to reduce poverty in the constituency.
The Kpone-Katamanso seat is currently being occupied by National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament, Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo, who stepped down after serving four terms.
The NPP is set to conduct parliamentary primaries in 104 constituencies on Saturday, September 28, 2019, as part of preparations for the 2020 general election.
