The Walk For Climate: Hundreds Walk On Damongo Principal Streets, Petition Overlord Of Gojaland And Regional Minister

The principal streets of Damongo, the capital town of the newly created Savannah region saw a host of individuals from different groups holding placards with various inscriptions suggesting that the forest is highly deteriorating at a very fast speed.
The theme for the walk was walk for walk for climate which means the participants and organisers were not happy for the current climatic conditions in the country.
Radio1News can confirm that hundreds of strikers from schools’ environmental clubs CSOs and other departments including environmental activists and resource user groups joined the ocassion and petitioned the overlord of Gonjaland, Yagbonwura Tutumba Boresa I and finally landed at the Regional Coordinating council to deliver the petition to the regional minister, Hon. Salifu Braimah who doubles as the member of Parliament for Salaga South constituency.
The participants are calling on the two personalities to help restore the climatic conditions in the area as the various inscriptions on the placards denote.
