Naomi Abena Obeng, winner of 2018 Ghana’s Most Beautiful, has started a nationwide tour to create awareness on HIV/AIDS.
This is part of the queen’s social responsibility. She will be visiting some selected tertiary and senior high schools to educate the students on the need to focus on their studies and abstain from sex.
She last visited students of the New Juabeng Senior High Schools at Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital.
Speaking at the ceremony, she indicated that her team together with the Ghana AIDs Commission had been carrying out a lot of activities to help reduce stigmatization.

She also urged the media to support her outfit to preach against stigmatization.
“The issue of stigmatization and discrimination keep eroding any successes that Ghana was making in the fight against HIV, especially among the key population, hence we need to ensure that it stops to reduce the high rate associated deaths,” she added.
She further mentioned interventions including intensifying public campaigns on the disease particularly on the popular ABC – Abstinence, Be Faithful and Condom Use; school engagements; adherence to treatment to suppress the virus, among others, to achieve the global agenda.
