Late Council Of State Member Laid To Rest

The Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Wednesday, 23 October 2019 represented President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the people of Ghana at the funeral rite of the late Alhaji Mogtari Sahanun, who until his demise was a Member of the Council of State.

Dr Bawumia described Alhaji Sahanun as a true servant of the New Patriotic Party 9NPP) and a dedicated statesman who served his country diligently.

Alhaji Sahanun was once the Upper West Regional Secretary of the NPP, Upper West Regional Minister and also Ghana’s Ambassador to Burkina Faso under President John Kufuor.

May his gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Almighty Allah
