Real Valladolid have been handed an injury boost ahead of this weekend’s clash with Sevilla as Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu has returned to first team training after shaking off a minor injury.
The 20-year-old, who was handed a Black Stars call-up for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, missed the games due to injury setback before the international break.
However, Salisu made a return to training and completed full exercise on Wednesday for the Whites and Violets.
He is likely to make a return to the starting XI this weekend as Valladolid face Sevilla at the Estadio Zorilla.
He has been one of the consistent performers for the club this season and is attracting interest from several club in Europe including English Premier League side Newcastle United.
The highly-rated defender has featured in 13 La Liga games so far this season for Real Valladolid.
