It’s very obvious that nearing the general elections in Ghana, tensions will rise and a lot of comments or opinions from political parties may cause fear and panic especially when expressed by those leaders of the the various political parties.
One of such comments recently expressed by the former president of Ghana and the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, John Dramani Mahama on the electoral commission has sparked different thoughts and emotions in other parties especially the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP.
The former president, in his interview with the media revealed that if anything should go wrong in the upcoming election, then EC must take responsibility of their actions and in-actions.
Moreover, the NDC is of the view that the Electoral commission is in bed with the NPP and doing everything possible within their mandates to support the bid of the ruling party.
The numerous agitations and walks of the NDC to stop the electoral commission from compiling a new voter’s register has failed and the EC is set to compile the new register soonest.
Meanwhile NPP differs from such assertions
