The Registrar of Scholarship Secretariat, Hon. Kingsley Agyemang who seemed to have garnered a lot of supporters and sympathizers walked from Asiakwa to Kyebi and finally made the disclosure official to the teeming members of the noble party, New Patriotic Party, NPP.

After placing 3rd in the last primaries and with the view that there would be a change at a time the first runner up did not contest, Kingsley Agyemang surprisingly pulled out of the competition and failed to file his nomination form.

Moreover, he urged them to rally behind the elephant party NPP even as the party has endorsed the incumbent member of parliament, Hon. Samuel Atta Akyea. He added that for peace, progress and development, they all need to rally behind Hon. Samuel Atta Akyea.

“Now the decision of the party is to allow our incumbent MP, Hon. Atta Akyea to represent us again in parliament. Today we are smoking the peace pipe. So lets all support Hon. Atta Akyea.” – Kingsley added.
