Coronavirus Arrest: Cases May Escalate If We Don’t Intensify Our Hygiene Protocols – Pharmacist

The deputy registrar in charge of operations at the Ghana Pharmacy Council, Dr Daniel Amaning Danquah, who doubles as the parliamentary candidate aspirant on the ticket of NPP in the Fanteakwa south constituency in the eastern region has revealed that cases of Coronavirus may escalate if citizens do not intensify their hygiene protocols.

According to Dr Amaning, he has observed with great concern, a majority of Ghanaians rely solely on the use of hand sanitisers and do away with other hygiene protocols.

He made this revelation to the media at a time he was donating dozens of hand sanitisers, infrared thermometers, Veronica bucket and other medical supplies to the Fanteakwa south district health directorate.

Addressing the media after the donation, Dr Daniel Amaning Danquah acknowledged the menace of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic and warned that those who rely only on the use of sanitisers as preventive measures must also wash their hands frequently, wash down well, wash fruits well before eating, to supplement the use of hand sanitisers.

Dr Amaning Danquah added that it’s important citizens take good care of their own health, since a healthy body can help to survive in this trying times.

Moreover, he entreated the public to highly go by the guidelines from the ministry of health and the government of Ghana to ensure the arrestvof the pandemic coronavirus.

Dr Daniel Amaning Danquah is one of the three candidates in the Fanteakwa South constituency, vying for the slot of the parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
