The national chairman for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC Hon. Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has expressed his satisfaction for the efforts the former president and flagbearer of the same party, John Dramani Mahama has put into remedying the effects of the deadly novel Covid-19 pandemic.
According to him, the former president cum flagbearer has throughout the crises committed his widow’s mite in providing PPEs to virtually every district in the country.
In addition, the NDC national chairman revealed that it was former president Mahama who quickly went to the aid of North East region when they were in dile need of PPEs even when the region is at the doorsteps of the vice president, H. E. Alhaji Dr Mahamadou Bawumia
Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo disclosed his displeasure on the approach the Akufo-Addo led NPP government is using to combat the pandemic. He therefore used the opportunity to urge the government to condone all the criticisms and work towards improving it for the benefit of all.

NDC in their approached has instituted Covid-19 technical team in support of the government’s efforts.
