COVID-19: Ghana Hits 1,671 Confirmed Cases, 16 Death And 188 Recoveries

With all the efforts and policies by the Akufo-Addo led goverment to arrest the spread of the deadly novel coronavirus pandemic, cases in Ghana keep on increasing as confirmed cases in Ghana move from 1,550 to 1671 with a difference of 121 new cases.

Ghana has so far recorded 6 new death bringing the total death toll in Ghana to 16 with 54 new recoveries also pegging it at 188.

It’s sad though as the number the two big cities in Ghana keep on recording most of the cases with Greater Accra recording 84 news cases and Ashanti region also getting 16 news cases.

That not alone, Upper East region gets an astronomical increases from 8 to 18 with Western region also recording 8 news cases.

Even as the scientific protocols recommended in fighting the pandemic are being enforced, the death toll and the new cases keep on increasing.

Ghana has so far extended the ban on social and public gathering to another two weeks, some MMDAs are enforcing ‘No Face Mask, No Entry’ initiative and public sensitization in enhancing the hygiene protocols readily observed.
