One personality who had since kicked against the three weeks lockdown, a decision by government’s to contain Covid-19 though applauded him for caring for the vulnerable, Mr Onipayede Ossom Teye who doubles as an independent aspiring president in Ghana, has suggested to the government and ministry of health to give the patients of the Covid-19 pandemic the opportunity to choose between being treated with traditional medicine or Orthodox medicine.

The noble man who seemed vindicated as the president, H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo lifts the ban on restrictions in some parts of the country is of the view that traditional medicines can help better than the Orthodox medicines.

In a phone interview with Obido Nana Gyasi of Radio1News, Mr Onipayede Ossom Teye could not hide the confidence he has in the traditional medicine practitioners, especially those in the villages.

“Our people in the villages can add herbs to treat this disease, let’s give them the opportunity. If you go to the villages, you’ll admit that they are doing very well so I suggest the president and the ministry of health give these people the opportunity to prove their worth and also give the patients the opportunity to choose between traditional medicine and Orthodox medicines for treatment” – Ossom Teye said.
