As the world battles the deadly coronavirus with daily increase in number of confirmed cases and death, a resident of Osiem in the Abuakwa North district in the eastern region who doubles as the chaplain for Hawa Memorial Hospital, Mr Alex Asante Yeboah has noted with great concern that the manner in which the information on cases and death are carried out, especially in the media is rather killing more people with the panic than the disease itself.
He disclosed this to Radio1News on sunday April 5 2020 when receiving donations from NDC National Chairman on behalf of the head pastor of Saviour church.
According to Mr Alex Asante Yeboah, the day it was announced that one case is recorded in the eastern region without really telling where exactly it occured, no one came to hospital the following day due to fear and panic.
He again advised that the individuals and their localities must be known so citizens be alert to prevent fear and panic.
