Let’s not Politicize Covid 19 Fight – Ofosu Ampofo admonishes Govt

Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the National Chairman of the NDC has told the Akufo Addo led government to desist making political statement and Commentaries on the covid 19 fight.
Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo made the comments during a studio discussion on AHOTOR FM (92.3) breakfast show on Thursday.
The NDC National Chairman noted that recent media engagements by some key appointees in government does not reflect the goodwill that the entire country seem to be portraying in curtailing the pandemic. He observe that spin doctors in government have gone beseck on dissenters who disagree with the Akufo Addo led administration on modalities adopted to mulch the virus.
Personalities in the likes of Professor Agyeman Badu Akorsa, as well as other renowned health Professionals have come under a barrage of attack and criticisms for taken a swipe at government and its covid 19 response team who are leading the fight against the global pandemic.

Government officials who are engross in the debate of the coronavirus has said that, the President must be hailed for exhibiting maturity, and prompt risks management in the affairs of the covid fight.
Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo also appeal to state officials to extend felicitations to both politicians, experts and Civil Society Organisations to bring on board cogent proposals to address the rippling effects of disease.
He called on all health professionals and frontline workers in the forefront on the eradication of the virus to show more zeal and commitment in ensuring that government and auxiliary stakeholders finds a lasting solution of the war on covid 19.
The National Chairman’s responses to some of the raging issues in the fight is as a result of attacks being meted out to the critics of the NPP administration. He noted and describe such acts as highly disingenuous, and defies national approach in stemming the Coronavirus.
Cases confirmed stands at 274, with 17 deaths respectively.
