Lockdown Freebies: President Was On Point But He Should Have Talked Of Rent Too – Kean Roy

The corona canker hitmaker, Kean Roy has lauded the efforts of the president, Nana Akufo-Addo in curbing the menace of covid-19, especially with his freebies to Ghanaians.

However, Kean Roy has disclosed to Radio1News that one thing the president missed out was touching on house rents.

According to him, some heartless landlords are prepared to evict people from their homes because their rents are due even in times like this.

He therefore wished the president appeals to the landlord’s and landladies to consider them for about three months too to ease some burdens off the ordinary citizens.

The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Sunday evening April 5 2020 in his nation address absorbed water bills for the next 3 months and directed the electricity company to ensure stable electricity for the next three months even as proviosoins are made to supply the poor and vulnerable in the lockdown areas with food.
