THE CRY OUT OF CONCERN COMMUNITY POLICE ASSISTANT
27/04/2020
immediate release
…………………………….
AN APPEAL TO MR. PRESIDENT
We the concern/bereaved beneficiaries of YEA under the security module (community police assistant) extend our greetings to you and the central government, Mr. President H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo (Nana for short). Nana, we say *”mo ne yɛ”* in the continues fight and briefing given to the citizens of this country in this times of hardship.
We the CPAs across the country stand in the position of calling and appealing to the president to consider the good and hardworking CPAs across the country through all your able media stations and foundations across the country in airing out to the doorstep of the government.
CPAs we recruited and trained by the Ghana Police to assist them in accomplishing their goals and mission of becoming a well class Policing in fighting, protecting lives and properties, apprehending and prosecuting criminal offenders within our various communities. There are a lot of modules under the YEA, youths in Agric, youth in sports, youth in forestry, youth in artisans and now youth in schools-support module. All these beneficiaries can set up their own business when their contract ends with the knowledge acquired but on the side of CPAs, we can not set up any security agency or company on our own the knowledge that was acquired at our various Police Training Schools.
We have gained all the experiences over the years working with the Ghana Police in doing our normal daily security work. But little did we know to go home with all the knowledge, skills, security ethics learned and acquired.
As we go home, what should we use the security knowledge acquired over the years in serving the Ghana Police to do??
We are appealing to all the media stations to take up our case and grievances to the government to consider recruiting hardworking CPAs into the Ghana Police.
It is our ardent hope that this our release would be carried out with much attention and love.
Thank you sir.
