YILO KROBO:Police Commander Leads Team To Enforce Mandatory Wearing Of FaceMask On Drivers

The Somanya district police commander DSP Isaac Ostin of yilo krobo constituency in the Eastern Region on Tuesday April, 28, 2020 with his team embarked on the directive protocols amid the fight against the novel pandemic among taxi drivers in the area.

Akutunya and somanya taxi stations were the two places visited by the police team.

DSP who led the team to embarked on the directive protocols said their sole aim was to engaged the taxi drivers more in a form of education and awareness as ‘drivers’ are people who engaged with people a lot due to the nature of their work.

Addressing the taxi drivers, he tasked them to enforce passengers and colleagues to put on their face mask to help combat the virus.

“Try to enforce passengers and colleagues who board your cars in a politely manner to wear face mask to prevent any possibility of contracting the disease” he stressed.

He further called on drivers to value their health to money as with healthiness, one is capable of doing everything.

“If you have life, you have everything so value your health in this difficult times because when you have life, you have everything” DSP charged them.

“we shall all be victorious over this deadly global pandemic soon if we all follows the directive measures by the government” he advised.

The drivers who were mostly appreciated with the police exercised said, even thou they are finding it difficult to enforced some passengers who board their cars, they will help and make sure the needed directive protocols are comply to assist the battle against the deadly coronavirus in the country.
