Accident: One in Critical Condition, 3 Sustain Mild Injuries As Toyota Venza Collides With CRIG’s Toyota Highlander At Bunso Junction

One in critical condition, three others sustain mild injuries as Cocoa Research Institute’s Toyota Highlander (Pickup) with registration number GN 3818-11 collides with a brand new but unregistered Toyota Venza at Bunso Junction in the Fanteakwa south district in the eastern region.

Though none died, the driver and the only person in the Toyota Venza is in critical condition even as the ambulance service was quick to pick the driver in the somersaulted car for health care at the Enyiresi government hospital in the Atiwa east district in the eastern region.

However, the three onboard in the Toyota Highlander who happen to be workers of Cocoa research institute of Ghana, sustain mild injuries even though there is no spillage of blood.

In an interview with the driver of the Toyota Highlander, he disclosed that they are enroute from Akyem Afosu branch of the Cocoa research institute to Tafo CRIG, where the unfortunate happened.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses have revealed to Radio1News that the white Toyota Venza with black stripes was about taking over the Toyota Highlander and they clashed which resulted in the Toyota Venza somersaulting.

As of now, the National Road Safety Authority has their towing car around to tow the damaged car from the busy Accra-Kumasi highway.
