Covid-19: Eastern Region Records 73.5% Recovery Rate, Highest Among All Regions

In what seems to be escalating cases in Ghana, the recovery rate is also increasing with eastern region recording 73.5%.
In the latest report from the eastern regional health directorate, 86 confirmed patients have been cured of the 117 cases.
It is therefore important to know that all 70 patients from Lower Manya are cured, 12 from Asuogyaman are also cured. Two out of 12 patients from Denkyembour cured, 1 each from fanteakwa North and Birim central are also cured. Bringing the total to 86.
This was also revealed by the regional’s deputy director of administration and support services, Mr Peter Boateng, when receiving donations of PPEs from World Vision Ghana in collaboration with KIA motors to further be handed over to Green Light Health Center at Saamang in the fanteakwa south district in the eastern region.

Now below are the districts in eastern that have recorded cases of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
Lower Manya – 70 Fanteakwa North – 6
Asuogyaman – 12 Birim Central – 2
Denkyembour – 6 Kwahu West – 2
Akwapim North – 8 New Juabeng South – 2
West Akim – 1 Suhum – 1
Birim North – 1
Ghana has so far recorded 6,486 cases, with 1,951 recoveries and 31 death.
