Covid-19: Ex-Footballer Donates Hundreds Of Relief Items To Fanteakwa South District Assembly

George Asiamah, ex- footballer of Abuakwa Susubiribi in the eastern region has committed his widow’s mite towards the fight against the deadly coronavirus pandemic by donating essential items necessary for mitigating the effects of the novel Covid – 19 pandemic.
Among items donated to the fanteakwa south district assembly and was received by the district Chief Executive, DCE, Hon. kwasi Ntori Adjabeng include: Veronica buckets with their stands, Disposable paper towels / tissue papers, Gallons of Liquid soaps, Boxes of Disposable gloves,gallons of alcohol based hand sanitisers, and face masks.
Presenting the items on behalf of the ex-footballer, native of Osino and currently residing in Worcester Massachute in USA, his voice was reechoed to the recipient that one does not need to be a politician before he/she gives back to the society.
He therefore urged all natives of fanteakwa far and near to also do their possible best to help eradicate the deadly coronavirus pandemic in the nation and globe at large.

The DCE, received the items on behalf of the district and blessed him, urged the fanteakwa citizenry to follow suit to help fight the virus. However, he advised the general public to kindly and religiously follow the directives spelt out by the ministry of health and Ghana Health service to fight the disease.
