Former President John Dramani Mahama and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC has disclosed the the Akufo-Addo led NPP government has unfortunately failed to come out with comprehensive plans detailing its strategy in the coronavirus response.
In his routine digital conversation and the latest on yesterday, the former president reiterated the need to stay safe since the president in his last address to the nation urged all and sundry to observe some preventive measures to fight the deadly virus.
“Clearly we have passed the containment phase of the disease and are currently having to fight against a community spread. While the official statistics are what we have to work with, it is clear that actual cases may be far more than what has been captured because of the constraints in the testing capacity. Unfortunately government has still not come out with a comprehensive plan detailing its strategy in the coronavirus response” – Former President Mahama said
Confirmed cases 2074, 212 Recoveries and 17 death. the virus has crossed 12 of our 16 regions with Greater Accra being the epicenter with 1795 cases.
