Covid-19 Relief: Lovingheart G.C. Int’l Feeds Hundreds Of The Elderly In 5 Regions

As everyone is geared towards supporting the poor and the needy, Lovinghearts GC International, a non governmental organisation with help from friends and other entitities, notable one being ISOTOYA foundation has fed hundreds of elderly but poor in five selected region in Ghana.

The Non-governmental organisation, which is known for providing health care to people, solicited for funds among themselves, friends organisations, and other patriots of the citizenry and reached out to the elderly in the five selected regions.

The regions with specific towns are as follows;

In Volta region, the team supported the elderly at Kpenoe whereas Ampabame Number 1 in Ahodwo – Kumasi also benefitted as Ashanti region. The Ankaful Leprosarium Community in Cape Coast, central region had their share. Lahagu in Tamale (Northern region) and Otokpulu in the eastern region was not also left out.

Beneficiaries received Bags of rice, Tins of Sardines / Mackerel, Tomato paste and locally made face masks. They were also offered free education on enhancing the fight against the virus.

In an interview with Dr. Evans Aboagye, leader of Lovinghearts G.C. international, he revealed that there is a need to also look at the elderly who cannot work and are stuck especially in times like this.

He used the opportunity to appeal to other great philanthropists to support the needy in the society for the fight against the deadly coronavirus pandemic demands a collective effort.
