The general secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has revealed that the purpose for which Inter Party Advisory Committee, IPAC was created has been shirked.

According to the vociferous chief scribe of the largest opposition opposition party, in 1994, the inter party Advisory committee was created for political parties will meet to jaw-jaw on the process of holding a transparent election in Ghana.

He disclosed this on UTV on the evening news to explain the reason behind the NDC’s boycott of today’s IPAC meeting.

General Mosquito as he is affectionately called revealed that there was no sense in going for the meeting because the Jean Mensah led electoral commission has been autocratic and only dictates at the meeting and never ready for deliberations and therefore sees no reason why they as in NDC must be present at the said meeting.
