Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the chief scribe for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC has revealed that just as he said the previous date set by the electoral commission to conduct a new voters register won’t come off, so as the new date set for the same exercise won’t come off.

According to him, time is not a friend to the electoral commission to conduct the the said exercise in waiting for the December 7 2020 general elections.

He added that Ghanaians would testify to this especially when Ghana has about 6 months left for the general polls.

He made these revelations in an interview to explain the NDC’s reason for boycotting the Inter Party Advisory Committee meeting held today on UTV News at 6:30pm.

Describing the processes one would go through before the registration from start to finish, the controversial scribe said he and for that matter his party will not sit aloof for things to go bad before Ghanaians run to them to inquire why they were mute on such decisions.

After IPAC meeting today, the electoral commission sets last week in June to begin the registration exercise and first week in June for the pilot process.
