“Our Leaders Are Shallow Minded” – UCC Senior Lecturer

A senior lecturer at the University of Cape Coast in the central region, Kingsley Adjei has revealed that per the current situation in Ghana and the kind of leadership style adopted by our leaders depict how shallow minded the leaders are.
According to the able lecturer, the development in Ghana is lagging far behind and politics has taken over the country.
In a phone interview with the senior lecturer on Saturday 16th May 2020, he could not fathom why the first president of Ghana in his infinite wisdom centered his governance on factories and developmental projects with national interest at heart ahead of individual interest. He cited factories the late first president, Dr Kwame Nkrumah left behind but now cannot be found.
Again, he revealed that the nation is far lagging behind because of our tastes for foreign goods. he narrated how the citizenry have abandoned their local food and have now adopted the foreign ones.

The senior lecturer advised that the nation goes back to their roots, where local food was the taste of the people.
