Bukom Banku Advocates For Reducing Teenage Pregnancy In Slums

A celebrated boxer, musician cum comedian, Braimah Isaac Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku has from today declared his intention to advocate for reducing teenage pregnancies in slums.

Bukom Banku disclosed this in a show this evening on GH one Tv, as he is determined to to be ambassador to eradicate this canker.

He revealed that a lot of the teenagers today are engaging in premarital sex and it’s really affecting the society.

Speaking in his normal pidgin, though he tried to add proper English, he showed his readiness to travel across the country to sensitize the teenagers to help reduce teenage pregnancies in Ghana so as to mitigate its effects.

Teenage pregnancy is become a big canker in Ghana.

Bukom Banku (born 17 August 1980) is married to five wives and is a Ghanaian professional boxer who until October 20 2017, had an undefeated record of 28-0-0 (21 K0). However, on 21 October 2017, he suffered a TKO defeat to Bastie Samir at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana, in a seventh round. On 7 September 2019, he defeated Rojhat Bilgetekin of Germany in the 3rd round at St George Hall in Bradford in the United Kingdom.
