Covid-19: 25 Districts In Eastern Region Hit With 604 Cases, 9 Death. Know the Districts

Eastern region has also not been spared by the deadly novel Covid-19 pandemic as 25 districts out of the total of 33 have been hit with confirmed cases of the deadly virus.

In all 604 cases are confirmed, 9 death recorded and 360 recovery leaving 235 active cases. Kwahu West leads with the most hit in the region with 179 cases with 63 recoveries whereas Lower Manya follows with 125 cases with 85 recoveries. This was revealed in a report released by the eastern regional health directorate of the Ghana Health Service on saturday, June 27 2020.

According to the report, 33 new cases were reported; 9 from New Juabeng South and 24 from Birim South. Below is the breakdown of the cases among the districts;

Ghana has recorded 17,351 cases, 12,994 recoveries and 112 death leaving 4,245 active cases to battle.
