Kennedy Agyapong Predicts Who Wins Adanse Asokwa Seat, Warns Wontumi Not To Invest In Anyone

The controversial member of parliament for Assin central constituency Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has waded into the controversies in the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries at Adansi Asokwa and has made his prediction as to who wins that seat.

The now trending member of parliament of Assin Central has advised the Ashanti regional chairman of the party not to waste his resources to sponsor anyone for anyone he spends money on will not win.

Speaking on the hot seat on Net 2 TV, on Wednesday June 10 2020, Ken Akompreko Agyapong revealed that come what may, the incumbent legislator Hon. Kobina Tahir Hammond popularly known as K. T. Hammond.

Hammond is a lawyer and he has been a member of parliament from January 2001 to date, being part of the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th member of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. He is currently a member of the Finance Committee and Mines and Energy Committee.

For the first time in 20 years, delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Adansi-Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti Region will be going to the polls to elect a candidate to contest the parliamentary election.

The last five primaries had been by popular acclamation as the incumbent, Mr Kobina Tahir Hammond, was always the sole candidate.

However, the entry into the race by a former President of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), Mr Samuel Binfoh Dakwa, has generated a lot of interest from both party supporters and residents; with Mr Dakwa vowing to unseat Mr Hammond, a political stalwart.
