Passengers Dropped For Not Wearing Face Masks As Drivers And Mates Made To Weed Or Desilt Gutters

A number of regional coordinating councilS (RCCs) as well as metropolitan, municipal and District Assemblies ,MMDA’s Nationwide have began enforcement of mandatory wearing of face or nose as a measure to contain the spread of Covid -19 in the country.

The Enforcement Is in line with Covid-19 directives issues by the ministry of Health in accordance with President Nana Addo Dankwa order making wearing of mask in public compulsory days after the lifting of the lockdown.

In Fanteakwa south,of the eastern region and the region as a whole ,many drivers and passenger turn deaf ears to this strict directives of wearing face nose mask compulsory, this morning ,Ghana Arm forces(soldiers) in collaboration with Forestry commision and ambulance service embark of ‘Operate compulsory wear your nose mask’,according to Radio checks or observation many drivers and passenger refuse to wear the nose mask,the personnel ordered drivers and passengers to buy some at the check point before leaving, some of the passengers who disobeyed to buy the nose case were drop at Bunso roundabout.

In an interview with David Owusu Asante ,forestry commanding officer with Nana Kwabena Addo Radio 1, he said it is not a deliberate exercise to trumple upon someone right but mandatory throughout the checkpoint across the country.

He finally appealed to all drivers and passengers who delibrate do not wear the nose mask applying Kumasi highway and koforidua to Bunso to abide by the rules of wearing nose mask as a measure to contain the spread of the Pandemic (Covid 19) for avoidance of not adhering to this directive they will face the law,he warned.
