Covid-19: Ghana Records 758 News Cases After 24 Hours, As Total Cases Hit 19,388

It appears the efforts in mitigating the spread of the deadly corona virus pandemic is not yielding any much positive results as Ghana records 758 news cases just after 24 hours.

Though the nation is hit with 19,388 total confirmed cases, it still records 117 cases of death one of the least in the world. Out of the 19,388 cases, 14,330 have recovered or discharged while the nation still battles with 4,941 active cases. As usual, Greater Accra and Ashanti region are the most hit regions and North east region is the least hit region. Below is the breakdown of the cases in the regions;

Sadly, Covid-19 is claiming a lot of lives recently in Ghana irrespective of the rank and therefore the need to intensify the hygiene protocols spelt out by the ministry of health and the Ghana Health services aimed at mitigating the effects of the novel Covid-19.
