Covid-19: Ghana Records 992 New Cases, 7 New Deaths As Total Cases Hit 21,077, With 129 Death Toll

It is becoming more scarier in Ghana as the nation records 992 new cases of the deadly novel Covid-19 pandemic in a single day and seven (7) more death to bring the total case counts of the nation to 21,077 and a death toll of 129.

Ghana has become an epicenter for the deadly novel coronavirus pandemic, Covid-19 in Africa as it is the fourth most hit country in the continent trailing South Africa, Egypt and their west African counterpart, Nigeria.

Ghana has however, recorded 16,070 recoveries or discharged, leaving the nation to contend with 4,878 active cases. Six (6) patients are revealed to be in critical condition. While the capital of Ghana, Greater Accra is the most hit, Ashanti region, Western, Central and Eastern region follow.

Is the effects of this pandemic ending anytime soon? Many souls are claimed globally and a lot of the elites are dying yet no cure or vaccine is discovered. World Health Organisation, Ministry Of Health, and Ghana Health Service are sensitizing the public to abide by the Covid-19 protocols in order to stay safe.
