The running mate for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Professor Naana Jane Opoku -Agyemang has revealed that she accepts the nomination to partner former president and flagbearer of NDC, John Dramani Mahama ahead of the 2020 general election, however, she comes in with the mindset of a team player.
Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang revealed to the general populace of Ghana that she belongs to all the NDC members in that its a journey that demands all inclussive.
She made these revelations when addressing the members, supporters and sympathisers of the great NDC in a ceremony organised by NDC to formally outdoor her as the party’s running mate for 2020 general elections.
“We are all aware that much as many have come before me, this is the first time in our history that a major political party has nominated a woman on his ticket to become vice president. I wish to assure the leadership and rank and file of the the party that i come to this position with the mindset of a team player. I belong to all of you and will always count on your support and guidance. This is a journey we will take together.” – Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang revealed.

She added that she never knew her pronouncement would generate such a nationwide debate and controversies.
